* (Caster) Increases Spellpower on caster by (10+(0.1 / Spellpower)). * (Caster) Decreases Mana Regeneration by -4.0 per tick, enough to stop regeneration or even drain it on lower level characters without +mana regen gear.
+10 or more Spellpower directly translates in added damage / effect for most spells and is equivalent to spending more than 3 levels worth of attributes on the Magic attribute.
For mages relying on the Animate Dead spell, getting this ability is almost a must due to the much increased power of the animated corpse.
