Learning this ability does not grant additional passive effects.
Threat describes the amount of hate an action generates on it's target. Abilities that inflict damage always generate threat proportional to the amount of damage dealt.
Cripple is a very powerful attack for dual wielding warriors and rogues. Apart from the guranteed critical damage on hit (which may shatter frozen opponents), the powerful attack and defense penalties are welcome when fighting melee based opponents.
