Effects

  • (User) While active, both weapons hit the target at the same time.
  • (User) Animation based attack timing means higher sustained damage output.
  • (User) Critical hits can not happen while in this mode.
  • (User) Rogues can not backstab while in this mode.

Passive Effects

Learning this ability does not grant additional passive effects.

Threat

Threat describes the amount of hate an action generates on it's target. Abilities that inflict damage always generate threat proportional to the amount of damage dealt.

  • This ability does not generate additional threat.


Role

Dual striking increases the sustained dps of the attacker, but it's inability to create critical hits or backstabs make it unattractive for rogues and characters specialized in high critical rates.
