Description A shot to the target's legs disables the foe, pinning the target in place unless it passes a physical resistance check, and slowing movement speed otherwise.

Effects

* (Attacker) This talent is a normal ranged attack with no bonuses to Attack Rating.

* (Target) On a successful hit, the target is rooted to the ground for 8.5 seconds or until damaged.

  • Lieutenants (yellow), Bosses (orange) and Elite Bosses (red) receive a Physical Resistance check modified by the attackers Cunning attribute.
  • Targets succeeding their resistance check have their are slowed to 50% their normal speed.

Passive Effects

Learning this ability does not grant additional passive effects.

Threat

Threat describes the amount of hate an action generates on it's target. Abilities that inflict damage always generate threat proportional to the amount of damage dealt.

  • Being hit by this ability generates 4 additional threat on the target(s).


Role

This ability is great for 'pulling' groups of enemies as the target will usually lag behind the group. Works well in combination with traps and glyph talents.

Pinning Shot requires micro management as damaging a target will cancel the pinning effect.
