Effects

  • (User) While active, the archer's ranged attack speed increases by 5% per point of Dexterity above 10 (but never more than 100%).
  • (User) While active, the archer will not produce critical hits with his ranged attacks.

Synergy Effects

  • The Master Archer talent doubles the effect of this talent, even past 100%.

Passive Effects

Learning this ability does not grant additional passive effects.

Threat

Threat describes the amount of hate an action generates on it's target. Abilities that inflict damage always generate threat proportional to the amount of damage dealt.

  • This ability does not generate additional threat.


Role

When faced with a significant number of weaker enemies, this ability allows the archer to quickly dispatch them before they get close.

Archers with Pinning Shot are great for suppressing Mages without significant Combat Training, as their rapid attacks will leave the mage unable to channel any spell that has a medium or longer conjuration phase.
