Developer Console
The developer console allows running of scripts and console commands while in the game.
To enable it, follow the instructions below.
Once enabled, the ~ key (' on the Brazilian keyboard) will activate it in game, but you won't see it as the text is not visible. Just type and press return.
Steam Editions
- Right click on Dragon Age: Origins in the Steam window and select 'Properties'
- Select 'Set Launch Options'
- Enter –enabledeveloperconsole into the window and confirm.

Retail Editions
- Right click on the Dragon Age: Origins shortcut on your desktop or start menu
- Select 'Properties'
- Append –enabledeveloperconsole to the target as shown below:
