Easy Mod for Dragon Age

Easy Mod is aiming to become a many-in-one utility script that changes rules the behavior of the game.

Installing EasyMod

To install EasyMod, copy the following file into the

\packages\core\override

directory underneath the game's install location. On some installations, you might have to copy the file into the

My Documents\dragon age\packages\core\override

folder instead. Do not copy it in both locations!

Then exit and restart your game.

To use easymod, you need the developer console enabled.

In game, after loading your savegame, bring up the (invisible) console by using the ~ key. Then type

runscript easymod

If easymod is successfully installed, a message stating 'easymod ready' will appear on your characters head.

EasyMod modules are installed and uninstalled by typing

runscript easymod install <module>

or

runscript easymod uninstall  <module>

runscript easymod install max_inventory

The following modules are available in the current version of easymod:

Module	Description	Permanent
max_inventory	Permanently sets the party's inventory space to maximum (125). Can not be uninstalled. Buying backbacks will not increase this limit any further (aka they become useless)	Yes

Easymod will always confirm your input, so if no messages appear, it is likely you mistyped in the debug console.

Utility functions:

To invoke a function, type

runscript easymod <function> <parameters

The following hotfixes are available in the current version of easymod:

Function	Description
changename newname	Changes the player's name to the newly supplied name. Will fail for party members, sorry

EasyMod hotfixes are hotfixes to problems found in the game that are not patched yet in the current version of the game

To invoke a hotfix, type

runscript easymod hotfix <name>
